Kamungwei Saturday 20th September
We had only been to Kamungwei once before, and then it was only one days training. We had immediately loved them, and prayed that what we taught made a difference. What a welcome we received in this truly rural but beautiful location. The Cafe Create, Prout Bridge bunting that we took last time, was still looking beautiful all around the little tin Church. When the team started to feed back, we were amazed, humble, tearful…….. what they had achieved with a mustard seeds worth of training was miraculous. In effect it was Church and Community transformation before our eyes. They had even ventured as far as 10 km to a neighbouring village to share what they had at Christmas. They had set up table top banking, bought some sheep, and trees, and seeds to plant. Even changing the traditional crop to achieve a healthy balanced diet.
We were sad to leave!!!
